Okay, all of you Crafty Woodworkers……you may remember eight years ago, when I came across a very rare opportunity to purchase a fallen Dawn Redwood tree. It was a once in a lifetime chance and I jumped on it and you guys, who love specialty wood, screamed with delight and just about bought out all that I had in a matter of a couple of weeks. Well, you will be delighted to know, once again, lady luck came knocking on my door. A young fella and his bride drove five logs across many miles in a broke down truck and a trailer with bent wheels, because the logs were so gigantic, to bring the most beautiful pieces of Dawn Redwood the eye has ever seen. I started sawing it yesterday and boy is it purdy!!!! Come on down and take a look for yourself. You specialty woodworkers are going to be all kinds of tore up.
